About Kords Kidz
Kord Angelucci, or “Coach Kord” has been a sports coach for over 20 years. Kord’s mission is to help parents guide their child to unlocking their god-given talent. This discovery leads to increased confidence and success. Kord has overcome his own self-limiting beliefs while being challenged with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and dyslexia. These learning disabilities were difficult for him to handle as a child in grade school. The academic demands became overwhelming. Kord started to feel like a failure and became oppositional. He grew up thinking he would never succeed if only measured by his academic performance. Due to this, Kord grew up with a fixed mindset.
Kord realized at a young age that he felt successful playing sports and building relationships. He is incredibly lucky to have found his purpose. Kord encourages parents to take responsibility and not let academics condition their child’s mindset with limitations. Kord urges parents to expose their child to all aspects of learning and discovery outside of the classroom in hopes of finding their child’s innate calling.
Fear and self-doubt remain one of the biggest challenges people have to overcome in order to become the best versions of themselves. While researching and studying personal growth and development for the last five years, Kord became aware of his limiting beliefs. He knew there had to be a way to overcome his fixed mindset. Kord’s personal growth was achieved through discussions with masterminds, personal coaching, and building connections. He now has a new perspective that has to lead to positive daily habits. Kord wants to give back and provide value to others who have dealt with similar challenges. He is also a life coach. Kord focuses on fitness & wellness on a daily basis. Due to his personal growth, Kord has a more successful business. On a daily basis, he provides value to others and is overall happier. This was only achieved through hard work and perseverance.
Kord graduated from Hofstra University with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and a master’s degree in Physical Education. He is a certified behaviorist through the Applied Behavior Analysis program. Kord believes in the power of personal perseverance through life struggles. This is the “why” that drives people to help others. Providing value to others is the greatest gift one can give. His experiences through coaching helped him recognize the patterns children have because of the conditioning at home. Kord provides parent training, classes on sports with children 4-8 and private sports lessons. Kord believes in providing a voice for children who face challenges. He also creates awareness for parents who want their child to have confidence and live their best life.
